U.S. Premiere of Walter Buczynski's Accordion Concerto "Fantasy on Themes of the Past" at Ted Mann Concert Hall October 18th

I've been practicing hard for this concert with the University of Minnesota'a University Band.  My friend Brian Messier will be conducting the ensemble and has bravely programmed an accordion concerto originally written by Walter Buczynski for Canadian classical accordionist Joseph Macerollo.  The first movements of the work are abstractions of folk themes while the final movement is a rhythmic exploration of extended technique.  I will also be joining the ensemble for several other pieces on this program!

Panorama Jazz Band In Concert At East Carolina University October 24th

I'm really excited to be joining my old friends from New Orleans the Panorama Jazz Band.  We'll be playing the concert series at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.  I played with Panorama in New Orleans for a couple of years and I'm always happy when I get to join the group on the road! Panorama is a wildly eclectic thinking person's party band with repertoire that includes Traditional Jazz, Klezmer, Balkan and Creole influences.  Full details on the concert and tickets can be found here.
