| Pianist Tom McDermott |
Tom McDermott is a good friend of mine from my time living and playing in New Orleans. He is a virtuoso jazz pianist versed in the styles of Jelly Roll Morton, Professor Longhair, James P. Johnson and many others. In addition, he is a talented composer in a wide variety of Idioms. Tom is also a regular guest on
HBO’s series “Treme” We are THRILLED to be presenting a show at the Dakota with him on Thursday, August 22nd. Tom will be doing some solo playing as well as joining the band for a set of Traditional Jazz. Showtime is 7pm, You DON’T want to miss it!
